Christina Perri Goes For A Big Ballad With “Human”: Listen
Singer-songwriter Christina Perri was vaulted into superstardom with her breakout single “Jar Of Hearts” (featured prominently on So You Think You Can Dance and then every emotional scripted TV montage ever), but she’s coming for major chart success with her new single “Human,” an epic and radio-friendly power ballad that sees the songstress singing her heart out over triumphant production.
Produced by top-notch popsmith Martin Johnson, it’s a properly dramatic way to come out swinging as Perri ramps up for the release of her as-yet-untitled sophomore LP, due out early next year on Atlantic Records.
She will also be performing it today on The Queen Latifah Show, which is a nationally syndicated talk show that I sincerely did not know existed.
