Rihanna Has Now Sold 10 Million Albums In America

So much for being a singles artist: Rihanna has added yet another coup into her long list of chart accomplishments: Billboard reports that the Bajan songstress has now amassed a total of 10 million albums sold in the United States after selling another 5,000 copies from her extensive back catalogue last week. This brings the grand sales total of Unapologetic up to 1.113 million, which means it’s still only her fifth-best-selling LP. (Also, who bought Unapologetic last week? Please explain yourself.)

Haters stay pressed, phuck yo sales record, and so on and so forth.

Her most successful album is still Good Girl Gone Bad, from way back in 2007, which sold 2.8 million copies.

Perhaps it will be addressed when she accepts her Icon Award at the American Music Awards next Sunday — but it’s Rihanna, so probably not.
