Alli Simpson’s Genuinely Great “Notice Me” Gets An Adorable Video (With A Cody Cameo): Watch

Alli Simpson first dabbled in pop music earlier this year with kooky debut single “Why I’m Single”. A dub-step infused club banger about being a spinster, the track was an unusual choice for a 15-year-old model but swiftly became my go-to guilty pleasure. (It’s really catchy!) Happily, her much-improved second offering “Notice Me” gives no cause for guilt.

In fact, “Notice Me” is a perfect piece of bubblegum pop. Cody Simpson‘s genetically blessed younger sister coos cutely and CJ Baran‘s sugary synth-pop production is a more authentic fit than the crashing electro-breakdowns that littered “Why I’m Single”. It’s sweet, universal in theme and boasts the kind of sing-a-long chorus that gets lodged in your brain and refuses to leave.

As for the clip? Alli spends most of it trying to catch the eye of  her hot neighbor by giving herself a sexy makeover and indulging in minor stalking. She also hangs out at the beach, shows off her acting skills by looking frustrated and proves to be the world’s worst paper delivery girl. Keep an eye out for Cody’s cameo (he’s in the marching band) and watch up top.

Does Alli have what it takes to be a pop star in her own right? Let us know in the comments below.
