Jessica Sanchez Lends Her Vocals To Zedd’s “Hourglass”: Listen To The ‘iTunes Sessions’ EP Cut

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from big-lunged American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez, so it’s something of a treat to get new music from her. She lends her always-impressive vocal to “Hourglass” — a cut from Zedd‘s just released iTunes Sessions EP.

Originally voiced by LIZ on the producer’s Clarity album, “Hourglass” is a dark and moody dance track that actually sounds better in its new, slightly stripped back format. Jessica’s powerful pipes soar over delicate piano, crashing guitars and heavy synths. The diva should consider revisiting this sound on her sophomore LP. It really suits her. Listen after the jump.

Should Jess explore this sound on her next album? Let us know in the comments below.
