Ariana Grande And Big Sean’s “Right There” Gets A Cheesy 7th Heaven Dance Remix: Listen

Nov 19th, 2013 // 6 Comments

Ariana Grande‘s “Right There” tried to broaden the teen’s appeal by positioning her as a credible urban-pop diva. So why is a cheesy dance remix by English house DJs 7th Heaven so much more enjoyable? It could have something to do with the fact that the track actually sounds fun and age appropriate now.

The remix frees the Big Sean collaboration from the elevator music hell it was previously trapped in. The BPM has been ramped up and Ariana’s vocals sounds even more glorious than usual soaring above sugary synths as “Piano” already proved. Listen to the perky dance overhaul after the jump.

I don’t like this remix “AT ALL!” The original is way better!

I don’t know what the person in this article is talking about saying: “Why is a cheesy dance remix by English house DJs 7th Heaven so much more enjoyable? It could have something to do with the fact that the track actually sounds fun and age appropriate now.”

Some things don’t need to be remixed, just leave it the way it was!

Yeah I agree with the above answer. Things should just be left the way it was. I mean it is nice and all but I like the original one better than this one. It’s more enjoyable and more “Hip” or young.

OMG! The person who wrote this article needs to get their ears checked or changed to a different dept. This remix sucks.
