Claire is Germany’s best export since beer. The Munich-based band formed for a one-off project in 2011 but realized they were on to something special and decided to stick together. It was a wise decision. Their dreamy brand of electronica is generating huge buzz around the globe and they even caught the attention of legendary Italian producer Giorgio Moroder.

The much-hyped fivesome recently made a whirlwind American trip to promote their new EP Broken Promise Land and kindly dropped by the Idolator studio for a chat when they were in Los Angeles. They talked about their influences, how it felt to snag that Moroder remix and the rich history of German electronica. Meet Claire up top.
