Zedd‘s iTunes Sessions EP is turning out to be an absolute must-hear. His masterful reworking of “Hourglass” with Jessica Sanchez arrived yesterday (November 19) and gives you some idea what to expect from the rest of the six-song set. Piano and guitars take precedence over synths and powerful vocal delivery comes to the fore.

A perfect example of that mix is the German DJ’s excellent cover of Adele‘s “Set Fire To The Rain”, which surfaced online today. Rising Swedish songbird Miriam Bryant takes over vocal duties and does an impressive job of following in the mega-selling diva’s footsteps. To keep it interesting they interpolating Etta James“Something’s Got A Hold On Me”, which works incredibly well. Listen after the jump.
