Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills” Remixed By James Blake: Listen
London producer-songwriter James Blake has uploaded a remix of Destiny’s Child‘s “Bills, Bills, Bills” online, once a vinyl-only release. While the R&B girl group had taken care to list all of what that triflin’, good-for-nothin’ type of brother had done, Blake focuses on toying with the hook so that it knocks, hiccups and snaps. It’s hard to tell whether he pitched down the vocals or decided to sing about telephone bills and automo’ bills himself, but either way, it’d be hard to blame him for trying.
