Paul Walker, star of the Fast & Furious movie series, died Nov. 30 in a car crash outside of Los Angeles. News of his death, at age 40, has sparked a flood of reactions from celebrity friends and fans.
Friends remember Walker for being compassionate, as he was throughout his life. In the moments leading up to the crash, Walker was on his way to attend a charity event benefiting victims of Typhoon Haiyan, on behalf of his organization Reach Out Worldwide. Fans remember him as FBI agent Brian O’Conner, a crucial character in one of the most diverse and successful film franchises in recent history. (Fast & Furious 6 opened on Memorial Day and earned $122 million during its first week.)
Fast & Furious co-stars like Ludacris and Tyrese sounded especially mournful, as the cast was on a break from filming Fast & Furious 7, due out July. See their reactions, plus those from Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and more after the jump.
