Chelsea Lankes 6 (1)

Nashville-based singer Chelsea Lankes debuted her shimmering single “Ghost” earlier this fall, and it’s a track you won’t easily get out of your system after giving it your first (and second, third, etc.) listen. The appropriately haunting pop offering serves as the first taste of Lankes’ upcoming 2014 EP Lucid, but before that, we’re premiering the thumping “Waste Management Remix” of “Ghost.” In this reworking of song, there’s more bass, more synths and just the right amount of dancefloor urgency.

“‘Ghost’ is one of those songs that catches you off guard,” Chelsea tells Idolator. “I knew it was special the day it was written. You always hope that a song can resonate with those that listen and ‘Ghost’ has done just that. I couldn’t be happier.”

Head below to give the “Waste Management Remix” of “Ghost” a spin.
