Britney Spears Says She Might Retire After Vegas Residency, Gets Caught In Literal Blackout

Well, it kinda seems like Britney Spears has had it with the entertainment industry (could you tell?), and while she snoozes through interviews promoting her new album Britney Jean and her upcoming Vegas residency, she suggested that once that wraps up, she may turn her attention back to motherhood fulltime.

The two-year stint at Planet Hollywood, which will include 96 shows in total, said that the future is TBD: “I might, who knows… I may have tow more kids and get married… I’d like to have more kids,” she told Mario Lopez in an Extra! interview.

She also said that the Vegas show will be her “hardest” yet, but also the “funnest.” So there’s that! “It’s like ten more times more dancing and it’s more aspects of, like, more props and more gags,” she said. “We use that to bring it more to life, make it really exciting.”

In related news, Britney was doing an interview at E! and the power went out during the interview; her reaction to being cast into darkness (literally, not figuratively) is one of the most beguilingly strange things I’ve ever seen. She looks around in bewilderment, which quickly fades into childlike wonder. You can basically hear her thinking, “Am I awake or am I dead? Is this heaven or hell? I can’t tell.”
