Lady Gaga Paints For ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’: Watch

Lady Gaga stopped by Alan Carr: Chatty Man to explain ARTPOP in a way that she hadn’t before. Her task: paint a portrait of host Alan Carr, who wore nude briefs and a bowl of fruit affixed around his waist, as if it was a fanny pack. “Do what you want, do what you want with my body,” he roared, as Gaga repositioned his leg and placed a pirate’s hat on his head.

Soon though, Gaga realized that she was taking the wrong approach. “This is not really what ARTPOP is about, though,” she says. “ARTPOP is really about, that I am the canvas. Which means that you have to be the canvas.” So she walks up to him, palette on hand, and proceeds to dab, streak and smear paint all over his chest and torso. On his back, she writes “DRUNK.”

Watch the ARTPOP diva paint a portrait up top, then see her chat and perform “Dope” and, yes, “Do What U Want” after the jump.
