Jordin Sparks Is Almost Finished With Her New Album, Says Jason Derulo
Jason Derulo, a singer best known for groundbreaking lyrics like “Jason Derulo!” and also “Jason Derulo!” revealed in a recent interview that his longtime girlfriend Jordin Sparks, whose song “Battlefield” is still objectively better than anything released in 2013, has almost finished her long-awaited third album.
“She’s getting in the studio, she’s doing a lot of acting stuff at the moment which has delayed things a little bit,” he told Digital Spy at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball. “Give it time, the album will come out. It’s almost done — she’s just putting some finishing touches on it. Everything needs to line up with the record label first and then she’ll get it out.”
Sparks has released several songs this year, from her promo single “Skipping A Beat” to buzz tracks like “11:11 (Wish)” and “Chocolate Brown Eyes,” but a proper LP from the songstress would be more than welcome. So hurry up, Jordin.
