Charli XCX’s “SuperLove” Gets A Wideboys Remix: Listen
Charli XCX started teasing her much-anticipated sophomore set with electro-pop gem “SuperLove” way back in September. Since then she’s released two videos for the track and a bunch of perky house remixes from top-notch DJs like British duo Wideboys.
Given her status as the new queen of cool, it’s interesting to hear what happens when unashamedly mainstream producers like Wideboys get their hands on Charli’s material. As it turns out, they smooth over some of the song’s more off-kilter moments, focus on the killer chorus and up the BPM. It turns out to be a winning formula. Listen after the jump.
