Duke Dumont & Jax Jones “I Got U”: Hear The Summery Dance Track

Duke Dumont proved his mettle as the British DJ to beat this year: His collaboration with rising songbird A*M*E, “Need U (100%),” was one of the best tracks of the summer and just nabbed him a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording (no big deal), and his MNEK team-up “Hold On” was equally luscious. Now, he’s dropped what might just be his best yet: A track with siren Jax Jones called “I Got U” that’s all warm, summery good-feeling, catchy and euphoric.

A pulsating beat with velvety vocals from Jones — “Ask me what I did with my life / I spent it with you” she croons — and delicious vocal samples make it a surefire winner. In fact, it was so good that when DJ Annie Mac premiered it on her radio show, she stopped halfway through to play it from the beginning. That’s a tune.
