Queen & Adam Lambert May Work Together Again

Adam Lambert fans may have another Queen collaboration to look forward to in 2014. Lambert filled in for the late Freddie Mercury as Queen’s singer in 2011, and that led to a string of overseas live dates in 2012 and a performance this year at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas in September. But what was intended to be a temporary partnership went so well that it may continue next year.

“It was a one-off but it went really fantastically well… He really interprets our songs just brilliantly,” drummer Roger Taylor said in a recent interview. “He’s got a voice which is pretty unbeatable. I do think we will be working with Adam next year, yeah.”

In the meantime, guitarist Brian May is working on finishing up recently discovered, unreleased Queen material, as well as some posthumous duets between Mercury and Michael Jackson.
