YLA’s “Bad B*tches” Gets The Jane Doze Remix Treatment: Video Premiere

What happens when you let NYC DJ set The Jane Doze run wild all over “Bad Bitches,” the new single from rising girl group YLA? A whole lot of bad.

Yep, the hotly tipped production duo (who recently unveiled an official remix of Britney Spears‘ “Work Bitch,” NBD) put their signature dark-electro spin on YLA’s latest single, which follows up their Spring Breakers-centric Vanessa Hudgens collab “$$$ex,” But better still than the wobbly, trapped-out vibe of their mix is the supercut video they put together in service of the track, which splices together footage from about a million different videos and gifs of women at their best (and baddest), from Madonna to Cassie to their pal (and ours!) Betty Who, as well as YLA and the Doze ladies themselves.

“Our concept behind the video was to feature the diverse women who inspired our “bad bitches manifesto,” Jen Doze explains. And it’s true — it may not seem like the most obvious feminist anthem, but set to these breakneck visuals, it all becomes clear.
