“Never Should Have” chanteuse Ashanti stopped by Arsenio, a show that I did not know had been revived until just now (finger on the pulse, folks!), to plug her Christmas EP A Wonderful Christmas With Ashanti and promote Braveheart, arriving in spring 2016. (Just kidding! It’s coming out next year, guys. Swear.)
That said! Her jazzy rendition was a delight, and during an interview, she talked at length about her relationship (and breakup) with rapper Nelly and how she’s found a new life as an actress on various Lifetime original programming franchises. She also dodged questions about her current romantic life by explaining: “What’s special in my life is my album Braveheart.” Solid #braveheartpromo.
