Drake Confirmed To Host ‘Saturday Night Live’
When Drake first appeared on Saturday Night Live in 2011, he performed songs but also insisted on doing sketches as a guest host would. “I was begging everybody. Like, ‘Please let me get a skit. Please let me get involved,'” he said. So he appeared as a teenaged werewolf, donning a mullet and rapping of how he scores candy on Halloween — not by dressing up, but by stealing from kids.
The song? “Bag Jackin (Bitches).”
Perhaps thanks to that (oh, and the platinum Nothing Was the Same), Drake will perform and host SNL‘s first episode of 2014, as announced during the Dec. 21 Christmas special. He joins the ranks of Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga as musicians who have also hosted the show.
