Beyonce‘s fifth, self-titled LP shows no signs of letting up its reign on the Billboard 200, as it notches a third consecutive week at #1. The album also has the distinction of having sold over 300,000 copies in each of its three weeks of availability. (Thanks, Santa!) Beyonce initially debuted with 617,000 sold, moved another 374,000 in week #2 then held up with 310,000 over the previous tracking week. Billboard notes that 1.3 million paid copies of the alum have been picked up in the US.

As previously mentioned, Bey set a record with her latest by becoming the first female to top the main album chart with their first five studio releases. We’d say this is more than enough cause to dance to your own album at a New Year’s Eve party, no?
