Miley Cyrus Responds To Fake, Beyonce-Dissing ‘Love’ Magazine Quotes

Is there anything Twitter trolls love more than drumming up drama between two female pop queens? 2014 seemed to start out with a doozy of a potential brawl, in the form of sledgehammer licker Miley Cyrus vs. chart ruler Beyonce, but it all turned out to be much ado about nada according to Cyrus. (That said, for some honest-to-goodness music-related beefs, check out these gems.)

The gist? Miley took part in an upcoming cover story for UK publication Love, and apparently false quotes from the singer, said to be from the piece, started doing the rounds today (January 2)…including this one: “Beyonce has been a big inspiration to me but she’s been out for such a long time. She’s so talented and I think she’s at the top of the game now but people are always looking for new blood and that’s what I bring to the game now, new blood. I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I’m just the best.”

Alas, the “Adore You” songdoll hit up Twitter and deflated any such beef with the following dispatches:
