Chris Brown Rejects Plea Deal Over Assault Charges

The public may already have convicted Chris Brown as guilty on charges of being The Worst Human Ever (and rightly so!), but the R&B star isn’t willing to lie down in court. Brown’s layers said yesterday that he has rejected a plea deal offered by prosecutors on misdemeanor assault charges he is currently facing over an incident where he reportedly hit a man outside the W Hotel in Washington back in October. (What — like you’ve never beat someone up outside a W?)

His judges told the judge that they rejected the plea deal because Brown is not guilty, so sure. A trial date will be set at the next hearing, which is currently scheduled for February 20. His bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, is also facing assault charges from the same incident.

And that’s your daily update on Chris-Brown-reportedly-committing-violent-acts news. Thank you for your time.
