Katy Perry Unveils Regal “Dark Horse” Single Cover, Tops iTunes Chart

After an unusual chart stumble with “Unconditionally”, the Katy Perry juggernaut is back on track with “Dark Horse”. The Juicy J-featuring trap-pop adventure leapt into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 this week (it jumped from number 11 to 6) and reached the top spot on the iTunes download chart yesterday (January 8).

To celebrate what is increasingly looking like yet another number one, Katy unveiled the “Dark Horse” cover art. It’s an elaborate drawing by New York-based artist Yao Xiao of the “Roar” diva dressed as a knight. Could this be an insight into the much-anticipated video? In other happy news, Prism sold its one millionth copy in America last week — so congratulations all around.
