Do what you want with world hunger! Christina Aguilera, legendary Lotus rising from the ashes to reclaim her throne, partnered with Yum! Brands (a huge company that owns Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC) last year on a special campaign to help raise money for the world’s hungriest people as the World Food Programme Ambassador Against Hunger. A press release out today says that their work together in 2013 raised a total of $37 million in cash and food donations for hunger agencies. Big ups, Xtina.

“I’m inspired and proud of our employees, franchisees and their families who have raised record-breaking funds and food donations and volunteered in their local communities toward hunger relief,” their CEO said in a statement. “With the help of our global spokesperson Christina Aguilera lending her voice, we were able to raise more awareness than ever about this critical issue.”

Christina Aguilera did not make a statement for use in this press release, probably because she was too busy snatching wigs.
