Sam Smith Hits Las Vegas In “Money On My Mind” Video: Watch
Sam Smith was just crowned the Sound of 2014 by the BBC, and he’s swinging into full promo mode with his new single “Money On My Mind” by dropping a shiny video for the clip earlier today, which sees the singer stalking around Las Vegas. He looks pretty blissful — remember, the song is about not having money on his mind, but love instead — but the intercut footage of others who appear more cash-oriented is a little darker.
In case you needed any more reason to prioritize love over money, this serves as a nice reminder.
The song is still one of the lushest, most compulsively replayable singles in recent memory, and it bodes quite well for Smith’s takeover this year.
