The professional list-writers at List Magazine Forbes have listed another list of list-able financial statistics of famous people, but this time we’re actually quite interested in it and not just posting it out of a sense of duty! They’ve ranked the highest-earning American Idol veterans of the past year, and in kind of a shocker, Carrie Underwood beat out Kelly Clarkson for the top spot. And it wasn’t even close: Underwood pulled in $31 million from June 2012-13, mainly from Blown Away sales, touring and endorsement deals, compared to Clarkson’s $7 million.

Phillip Phillips and Adam Lambert are tied for third with $5 million each, while Jennifer Hudson, Scotty McCreery and Katharine McPhee also made the top 10. Forbes points out that Underwood has earned $83 million in the past five years, and that her 2013 total eclipses the earnings of last year’s judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban.

Head below for the full list.

1. Carrie Underwood ($31M) 2. Kelly Clarkson ($7M) 3. Phillip Phillips ($5M) 3. Adam Lambert ($5M) 5. Daughtry ($4M) 6. Scotty McCreery ($3M) 7. Taylor Hicks ($2.5M) 8. Fantasia ($1.5M) 8. Kellie Pickler ($1.5M) 10. Katharine McPhee ($1M) 10. Jennifer Hudson ($1M)
