Sara Bareilles Selects “I Choose You” As A Single, Unveils Simple Cover

It’s hard to believe that Sara Bareilles released “Brave” way back in April 2013. Nine months have passed and the feel-good lead single from Grammy nominated LP The Blessed Unrest is still unavoidable on radio and holding steady on the Billboard Hot 100. This week it actually climbed four spots to number 26.

The time has come, however, to look to the album’s second single and the songstress has chosen “I Choose You”. It’s unclear if the Mark Endert-produced toe-tapper is an official single or just a promo release but a cover has been unveiled, indicating the former. And it’s a good choice. Along with “Chasing The Sun”, it’s the sophisticated set’s most obvious and endearing radio hit.

Is releasing “I Choose You” a wise choice? Have your say in the comments below.
