Sucker DJs who think you’re fly, it’s time to give a listen to Little Mix‘s cover of Cameo‘s “Word Up!”, a classic floor-filler that originally became a worldwide Top 10 smash in 1986. The UK girl group tackled the cut for the biannual Sports Relief charity, the proceeds of which go toward aid in poor countries.

Little Mix’s rendition gets an official single release in their home country on March 16 — the same day as Kylie Minogue‘s “Into The Blue,” for those keeping track — but the sassy, girly version of “Word Up!” premiered on UK radio this morning. Give the quartet’s take on the song a spin below, then watch the video for the original version by Cameo.

Meanwhile Little Mix’s sophomore album Salute, which sadly does not contain “Word Up!” on its tracklist, is set for a US release on February 4.
