Beyonce’s “Flawless” Gets Spoofed As “Morning Face”: Watch

Beyonce‘s “Flawless” became an instant girl power anthem, mainly thanks to its boss bitch “I woke up like this!” declaration. But, obviously, Bey did not wake up like that, although her heart is in the right place. And now a couple of ladies decided to spoof the song with a more honest depiction of waking up “like this,” called “Morning Face.”

The parody, which follows a similarly “realistic” spoof of “Drunk In Love” on What The Funny, was done by Emotistyle (Molly Austin and Shamikah Martinez). They’ve replaced the “flawless” barks with “human,” touting the true nature of waking up “like this”: morning breath, sheet lines, “my rock” actually being an eye booger. Glamorous stuff.

And most important — they actually appeared without makeup. “The cold hard truth is that until now Molly and I have NEVER filmed an Emotistyle video without any make up on,” Shamikah told Noisey. “So I think this was good for us too.”
