Lorde Thanks Fans For Grammy Wins: “Joel & I won… HOLY CRAP”
Lorde took to the The New Zealand Herald to thank her fans for her recent Grammy wins. Scratch that — her and producer Joel Little’s Grammy wins. In the full-page, handwritten note, Lorde firstly mentions she and Joel won, and proceeds to thank fans for the past year-plus of slow-build success.
“Hiya, if you’re reading this, Joel & I won. HOLY CRAP,” it begins. “I just want to say thank you for the time you’ve given me these past 14 months… Without your support, there’s no way I would ever have gotten to stand in the middle of the Staples Centre & perform in my school shoes.”
