Jennifer Lopez Is The “Same Girl,” Now With A Music Video Reminder: Watch

Jennifer Lopez has dropped the video for “Same Girl,” and as you probably guessed, it’s heavy on the Bronx imagery. JLo walks underneath NYC’s omnipresent building scaffolding, takes a ride on the 6 train and rocks a Yankees hat in the clip, among other markers showing her authenticity. But at least this time around the star is self-aware about her nearly obsessive insistence that she’s real, as the video shows a fan declaring “it’s Jenny from the block!” in a nice little meta moment.

The visual also finishes with a note from JLo that reads: “Thank you Andrew Freedman House, Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra, and to all my people in the Bronx… You’re forever in my heart.” Watch it up top or over at Complex, then peep the lyrics.
