George Michael’s “Let Her Down Easy”: Listen To The Lead ‘Symphonica’ Single

Good news for fans of all things orchestral and all things George Michael: The singer will be back with a crooner-worthy album of covers, both standards and re-worked versions of his own tunes, next month. Titled Symphonica (out March 17), the album’s lead single is “Let Her Down Easy,” originally a moving 1993 tune by Terence Trent D’Arby. Michael’s version of the piano-driven ballad premiered today on UK radio, and signals that, over 30 years into his storied career as a recording artist, he’s still got one of the most beautiful tenor voices in music.

Listen to George Michael’s cover of “Let Her Down Easy” below, and catch a preview clip of the song’s music video (plus Terence Trent D’Arby’s original clip).
