Lorde’s Little Sister Covered A Great Big World, And A Great Big World Loved It
Well, wouldn’t you know it, Lorde has a little sister who is also a talented singer. The 15-year-old India Yelich-O’Connor posted her cover of A Great Big World‘s “Say Something” a couple weeks ago, and it made its way around the Web and back to the duo themselves, who have joined the chorus of raving reviews.
“It was awesome! You can hear a little bit of her, maybe she’s influenced by her sister’s sound a little bit,” the band told MTV News. “It was just so awesome that our music is a). connecting to people in New Zealand and b). it’s Lorde’s sister and Lorde’s awesome.”
