Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran performed an impromptu cover of The Knife‘s early-2000s synth-pop gem “Heartbeats,” in the style of Jose Gonzalez‘ acoustic cover of the song. Taylor posted an Instagram video of the jam session, which took place in the US Ambassador’s home in London while the two finish up the Red tour there. The performance also included Cara Delevingne, with all three on vocals and Sheeran on acoustic guitar.

“Me, Ed, Cara. Singing songs in the US ambassador’s house,” Taylor captioned the video, adding, “What is life.” Check it out below.

We’re guessing for their next song they took on the Swedish group’s impenetrable “Fracking Fluid Injection” from 2013′s Shaking The Habitual.
