Foxes Performs An Acoustic Cover “Hold On We’re Going Home” And “The Monster”: Listen
We all know Foxes sounds amazing singing over soaring synths on songs like “Clarity” and “Youth” but the talented Brit sounds equally great with only a piano to keep her company. Need proof? Look no further than the beautiful acoustic mash-up of Drake‘s “Hold On We’re Going Home” and Eminem and Rihanna‘s “The Monster”.
Performed on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show, the songs come together surprisingly well — particularly when you consider that one is a love song and the other documents a battle with personal demons. However, in the “Let Go For Tonight” diva’s capable hands they both just sound achingly sad and pretty. Listen to Foxes at full flight after the jump.
