Betty Who’s “Heartbreak Dream” Premieres
Betty Who‘s Slow Dancing EP will be out sometime this spring, but ahead of that — and before her spring tour kicks off — you can get an early listen to new single “Heartbreak Dream” online today. The upbeat pop song, another collaboration with producer Peter Thomas, will be available on iTunes on February 18.
“Well, it’s not really a breakup song,” Betty Who (aka Jess Newham) tells SPIN of her new single. “A lot of my songs are like that, looking at complicated relationships rather than just being about being in love and being happy. It’s more about the kind of relationship that you probably should end but for some reason neither of you can — nobody’s happy, nothing good is happening, you complain about it all the time, but you just don’t end it.”
