Selena Gomez looks happy and healthy in a new Instagram post, and she used the forum to thank her fans for their support during this rough patch, which included a quick rehab stint. “I’ve done everything I could to the best of my ability,” she wrote, without specifically mentioning rehab. “Thank you for the unconditional love and cyber hugs. You inspire me.”
While Gomez hasn’t revealed any details of her treatment, you’ll notice in the photo she’s holding what appears to be a glass of red wine, which supports her rep’s statement that she was getting treatment unrelated to substance abuse. Billboard spoke to a source saying she’s merely “burnt out after a relentless year of back-to-back films, concerts, TV, touring and all the promotional work that goes along with it.”
Better that she get some peace of mind than become another casualty of the child-star meat grinder. See her Instagram post below.
