Justin Timberlake Picks “Not A Bad Thing” As The Next ‘2 Of 2’ Single: Listen To The Radio Edit
Justin Timberlake will release bubbly mid-tempo ballad “Not A Bad Thing” as the third single from The 20/20 Experience — 2 Of 2. It’s a great choice. The Timbaland-produced album highlight has considerably more commercial appeal than cuts like “TKO” and exudes a sweetness that harks back to glory days of ‘N Sync.
But before JT’s latest single could be sent to radio, a little trim was in order. Like most songs on both 20/20 LPs, “Not A Bad Thing” suffered from an excessive running time. I know many fans enjoyed Justin’s meandering approach to R&B but, for sufferers of musical ADD like myself, those seemingly endless songs were a form of cruel and unusual punishment.
Happily, a minute was shaved from “Not A Bad Thing” and the song sounds all the better for it. Listen to Justin’s lean, mean and extremely good new single after the jump.
