Morrissey has snagged two living legends as openers for his upcoming concerts in Los Angeles and New York: Tom Jones and Sir Cliff Richard, respectively. No stranger to being an icon himself, Moz’s just-announced tour dates see him running across North America through May and June, ahead of the release of his first studio album in five years.

The singer began recording his latest LP last month in France with Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli, who has worked with the White Stripes, The Killers and Christina Perri. The album is due out “later in 2014” on Capitol Records’ Harvest imprint.

While Jones and Richard will make their respective one-off appearances, Morrissey protege Kristeen Young has been enlisted to open on all dates, starting on May 7 at San Jose’s City National Civic Auditorium. See which venues Moz will be hitting below.
