Lana Del Rey’s “Behind Closed Doors” Surfaces In Full: Listen To The Finished Version

It’s hard to keep track of the deluge of unreleased Lana Del Rey tracks that continue to surface online but one of the more interesting demos to escape her laptop is a moody anthem called “Behind Closed Doors”. The synth-pop/rock tune first appeared last year in extremely low quality but a cleaned up version is finally here for your listening pleasure.

So where does this fit in the 27-year-old’s discography? Given that it’s been online (in one form or another) for the best part of six months the song is unlikely to be a taste of Ultraviolence but wouldn’t sound that out of place on her Paradise EP apart from the fact that it’s unusually upbeat — at least by the diva’s wonderfully gloomy standards. Take a listen to the perennially depressed diva’s latest after the jump.

Was this better left on her laptop or a diamond in the rough? Have your say in the comments below.
