Mariah Carey’s “You’re Mine (Eternal)” Video Gets The Trey Songz Remix, Too: Watch

Like the song itself, Mariah Carey‘s “You’re Mine (Eternal)” video gets the Trey Songz remix. While the two never share a scene together, the clip incorporates a few extra glances into the young R&B singer’s (far more ordinary) world: a photography studio, a loft overlooking a glittering metropolis skyline, close-ups of his own bare chest.

Less an actual collaboration than a video mash-up, the “You’re Mine (Eternal)” video’s a somewhat savvy attempt at crossover appeal: pop and R&B/hip-hop airplay, fans of R&B old and new, people who taped Butterfly-era posters to their dorm room walls and fangirls eager to hear Songz’ new album Trigga, out this summer.
