Rita Ora’s “I Will Never Let You Down”: Listen To A Minute Of The Calvin Harris-Produced Song

The new Calvin Harris single is so upbeat and so pure pop — not to mention vaguely reminiscent of his masterful 2007 collab with Kylie Minogue, “In My Arms” — it literally might leave you dancing on air. I guess it should be mentioned that the new Calvin Harris single is actually the new Rita Ora single, which her DJ/producer/singer/chart wiz beau Calvin whipped up for her.

“I Will Never Let You Down” is previewed in a Rimmel London makeup ad, and judging by the 54-second clip above, I’ll just go out on a limb and say this has the potential to become the first BIG moment for Rita. Don’t believe me? Check out the snippet over at Vogue Italy and hear for yourself.

Regarding working with Harris on the track, Ora told BBC Radio 1 the following in January: “We were sitting at home, he started humming and then I started humming and then we hummed together!” Damn — get a room, you two.

“I Will Never Let You Down” is the first taste of Rita’s upcoming LP, which is said to also contain a pair-up with Grammy winning duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
