2014 BRIT Awards: Watch Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Lorde, Katy Perry And Pharrell Perform

Beyonce graced the stage at the BRIT Awards for the first time in a decade today (February 19) — wowing the crowd with a beautiful, stripped back version of “XO”. She looked typically gorgeous in a green sequined evening gown and belted out the Ryan Tedder-penned tune against projections of fireworks and neon lights.

“XO” was really brought to life by the new arrangement, which slows the tempo right down and incorporates orchestral instruments. It shows off Bey’s flawless vocals and seems more in line with the song’s spiritual message of living life in the moment. She even had the crowd singing along at one point.
