Jessie Ware Helps Out On Julio Bashmore’s “Peppermint”: Watch
Emerging British producer Julio Bashmore was one of a the key forces on Jessie Ware‘s wonderful debut, Devotion, assisting on weightless tracks like “Sweet Talk.” So Ware recently returned the favor, taking vocal duties on “Peppermint,” a song off Bashmore’s forthcoming debut album. It’s a pulsating house track, with Ware repeating, “I’m hot for you / What you gonna do?” over neon synths and drum machines.
For the video, unfortunately, we don’t see the two of them. Instead, it’s a whacked-out, fever dream CGI animation. Watch it below.
