Adam Lambert To Cover The Darkness On ‘Glee’: Listen

Adam Lambert has already covered (and fronted) Queen, so it’s only fitting that he is now covering tongue-in-cheek, Queen-influenced hair metal revival group The Darkness. Quite frankly, we can’t believe it has taken this long, but finally the triforce of theatrical, throaty rock wailing will be complete in this week’s “Frenemies” episode of Glee. (We also can’t believe it’s taken this long for a Glee ep to be called “Frenemies.”)

Lambo and Chris Colfer will be taking on The Darkness’ 2003 hit “I Believe In A Thing Called Love,” and the number takes place in a guitar shop, which is conveniently outfitted with a stripper pole, as you’ll see in the sneak peek after the audio below.
