The Haim Sisters Dance Their Way Through “If I Could Change Your Mind”: Watch

Haim‘s debut LP Days Are Gone was universally praised for its refreshing brand of Cali-pop but a breakthrough radio hit has eluded the sisters — at least in this country. That could finally be rectified with “If I Could Change Your Mind”, which is the band’s perkiest pop track yet. So perky that they bust out some choreography for the video!

That’s right. Alana, Este and Danielle show us some wonderfully awkward dance moves in the slick ’80s-inspired visual. It’s somewhat jarring at first — Haim is better known hair whipping and bass face — but it suits the song’s synth-rock sound and, when intercut with footage of the band rocking out, has the desired comedic effect. Watch up top.
