Sara Bareilles Belts Out “I Choose You” On ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’: Watch

We Choose Her

After spending the best part of a year promoting “Brave”, Sara Bareilles has finally moved on to the second cut from Grammy-nominated LP The Blessed Unrest. “I Choose You”, another Mark Endert production, is every bit as uplifting and infectious as her previous single — so expect it to hang around for a minute too.

The 34-year-old dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the song with her band last night (February 27) and put on a typically flawless vocal display. She also looked amazing with her new hairstyle — love the curls — and killer outfit. Sara has a number of radio-friendly tunes on the album (“Chasing The Sun” in particular), which should translate into another blockbuster year for the Californian diva.

Is “I Choose You” a worthy follow up to “Brave”? Let us know in the comments below.

Love it! Was interesting to see her without the piano, but she sounded great.

  2. Collin

Great performance! This was actually on Jimmy FALLON though, not Kimmel. Great article, however!

  5. I get it

    Incredible performance!
Pitch, timber, natural (not the current forced acrobatic and tiresome) vibrato as well as stunning straight and solid sustained notes… timing (total pro making it look easy) ,groove, dynamic mic distance control..
Never heard this girl before this performance.
Yea, I know, have I been living under a rock or what!?
Her million dollar smiles, beautiful eyes, charisma,
    command of the audience…
I could go on, but needless to say,
You blew my head off Sara.
Coming from a guitar player that usually prefers progressive classically influenced instrumental performances, you bring me such a smooth and lovely vocal re-awakening.
    Thank you,
I was an instant fan in less than a minute for sure.
    Cheers Sara!
    Truly Amazing!
