Jason Derulo Unleashes A Spanish Version Of Smash Hit “Talk Dirty”: Listen

Jason Derulo is heating up dancefloors across America with explicit club banger “Talk Dirty” but the song’s appeal will soon reach even wider due to a new Spanish version. I’m here for this. Once upon a time artists would regularly re-record their songs en español even when they couldn’t speak the language. (Beyonce‘s “Irreemplazable” is the best example and remains everything!)

It’s fair to say that Jason probably wouldn’t cut it as a translator. His Spanish is rudimentary at best but that just kind of adds to the appeal. Nothing about this song is high brow, so a little mispronunciation is the least of our concerns. In fact, “Talk Dirty” survives the wonky overhaul largely intact due to the slick beat and catchy chorus. Listen to the guilty pleasure after the jump.

Should Jason record all his songs in Spanish? Have your say in the comments below.
