Nicki Minaj’s Mom Is Releasing An EDM-Tinged Gospel Single Called “God’s Been Good”: Listen
I promise you’re not being trolled. Carol Maraj (AKA Nicki Minaj‘s mom) has recorded a gospel song called “God’s Been Good” — complete with EDM-inspired synths and autotune. She uploaded a thirty second preview to her SoundCloud today (March 3) and it’s obviously everything.
“With a strange look on his face the doctor studied me, looking at the X-rays I could see he wasn’t sure,” whispers the lyrically gifted diva before declaring “God’s been good, he’s always been good to me” over synths that could well have been recycled from “Starships”.
