JoJo

After years filled with endless tears, frustration and shady contracts, JoJo is finally free! The singer released the celebratory (and utterly flawless) #LoveJo EP on Valentine’s Day, and can now perform those songs and a handful of other mixtape favorites in front of a festival crowd. Her soulful voice is still criminally underrated, so her performance at SXSW is bound to introduce her to a ton of soon-to-be fans.

Little Boots

Here’s another British import who is increasingly making waves in the Pop music scene. Little Boots seamlessly blends moody electronica of the aughts with bright seventies disco, and her sophomore album Nocturnes will sound even more lush in a live setting than it does in our headphones. The dance-pop singer-songwriter will do double duty at the festival, with both a solo performance and a DJ set on March 14.
